AGAINST AGAIN was born in summer 2001 out of the ashes of former projects containing streetpunk and ska-punk bands. The members of the band know each other since a long time since they were skating together when younger. The first time they came together to play music was in spring 1999 to create a band called TIMESICKNESS that surprisingly became one of the most powerful live bands in Luxembourg. After almost two years of incredible gigs, the band came to split because of internal dischord and each member started concentrating on different side projects.  
 
One of these side projects was originally called ´THE SCUMBAX´ and  a few songs with a second guitar player (Pem) were written before Pem left the band after half a year. The band´s name turned into ´THE REJECTS´ and finally it became AGAINST AGAIN. 
 
Today,

 
who were all members of the original band (TIMESICKNESS R.I.P.), came together again to give their friendship and common love for punk rock music another chance... 
 
So here they are!!  

The name AGAINST AGAIN was chosen to illustrate both aspects of the fact of being “against”. It is certainly wrong to accept every single standard of society but being systematically against everything that might be “social” won´t lead you to greater achievements.

AGAINST AGAIN is basically a melodic streetpunk band with hardcore and ska influences.

So far there were no demos or albums released but a 6 or 7 songs demo is on it´s way and DON´T GIVE ME ANY RULES has just been recorded at Marius´s (thanks a lot) and will hopefully appear on several international and national compilations…
