The band is considered as the first underground/alternative band of the Grand Duchy. After several month of developing their sound in a rehearsal-room of the then selfruled Schluechthaus ( Kulturfabrik ), they played a first gig in May'90 in the KuFa. Furhter gigs followed in Luxemburg and in the neighbour countries.

The bands music was best described as Grunge-Core.
The songs being too fast just to be Grunge and too noisy just to be Hardcore.

ELVIS JUST LEFT THE BUILDING paved the way and inspired a lot of young teenagers to start their own bands like: 
BECAUSE or WOUNDED KNEE. 

The band existed from 1989 until Oct.'92 and released a flexdisc 7" EP with four songs as well as several songs on long deleted cassette-compilations that were sold within the Schluechthaus-Underground-Scene at the time.

After they broke up, Pattex joined NO MORE and WOUNDED KNEE!
Vic, Marco and Sloggy formed GAUGED in 1993.
